Gail Ramsay . . . Ramsay Fiber Originals

The human form, nature and currently, mechanical objects have inspired my designs in fiber.  I’ve found the unlimited variety of texture and color in both commercial and hand dyed fabrics to be a most satisfying pallet. Adding stitches to layers of fabric and fiber creates depth in an already highly textured surface and is an important part of my work.  My work is primarily representational fiber collage and abstract piecework.
